Privacy Notice
Effective August 4, 2026
This notice explains what information sentinelprecision.com may collect, how it may be used, and the terms on which access to this site is provided. It applies to visitors to this website and to anyone who submits an inquiry through it.
This is a business and government website
This site is published for governments, armed forces, law enforcement agencies, prime contractors, authorized distributors, suppliers and the press. It is not a consumer website. We do not sell products to members of the public through this site, we do not operate visitor accounts, and we do not process payments here. Inquiries are expected to be submitted in a professional or official capacity, on behalf of an organization, rather than in a personal one.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with the site, we may collect:
- Information you submit. Through the inquiry form or other correspondence: your name, organization, official email address, telephone number, country, organization type, capability of interest, and the content of your message and any attachments.
- Technical and network information collected automatically. IP address, approximate geographic location derived from your IP address or other network data, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language settings, referring page, pages and resources requested, time and duration of access, and similar diagnostic data.
- Usage and measurement information. How the site is navigated and used, collected through server logs and through analytics, measurement or performance technologies we may deploy from time to time.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Used for security, essential site functionality, preferences, analytics and measurement, as deployed from time to time.
- Information from third parties. Including restricted-party screening providers, business information sources, and government lists, where used to verify an organization or its principals.
Current practice
The categories above describe what this notice permits, so that capabilities can be added without rewriting it. As presently configured, this site sets a single security cookie placed by our edge provider to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors, and does not deploy advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. Where a jurisdiction requires consent before a particular technology is used, we will obtain that consent, or restrict the relevant technology or access in that jurisdiction.
How we may use it
- Operating, maintaining, securing and improving the site, and defending it against attack, fraud and abuse.
- Export-control, sanctions and trade-compliance purposes, including determining the jurisdiction from which the site is accessed, screening organizations and individuals against government restricted-party and denied-party lists, and conducting end-use and end-user due diligence.
- Determining, restricting, logging or refusing access to content, features or the site itself on the basis of geographic location, where necessary to comply with export controls, sanctions or other applicable law, or where we otherwise consider it appropriate.
- Assessing, qualifying, routing and responding to inquiries.
- Business development, marketing and communications relating to our products and capabilities.
- Analytics, measurement, research and product development.
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, and complying with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Any other purpose disclosed to you at the point of collection, or to which you consent.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests (operating and securing the site, responding to business inquiries addressed to us, and developing our business), compliance with a legal obligation (export-control screening and record-keeping), and consent where consent is required.
Geographic access
Access to this site is determined in part by the geographic location associated with your network connection. Content, features or access may be limited, logged, or refused by jurisdiction. This is a compliance control, not a commercial one, and it may be applied without notice.
Export-control screening — please read
Sentinel Precision, Inc. is a US manufacturer and exporter of record. Inquiries touching controlled items are subject to restricted-party screening and end-use and end-user due diligence.
Information you submit may be disclosed to US Government agencies — including the Department of State (DDTC), the Department of Commerce (BIS), and US Customs and Border Protection — where required by law or where necessary to obtain an export authorization. If you submit an inquiry, you should assume this may happen.
Do not send controlled technical data
Do not submit ITAR- or EAR-controlled technical data, classified information, or export-controlled drawings through this website. The inquiry form is not an approved channel for controlled technical data. If your requirement needs that level of detail, tell us in general terms and we will arrange an appropriate channel.
Who we may share it with
- Service providers and processors who host, secure, operate, analyze or support the site and our business communications, under contract.
- Our affiliates and, where relevant to an inquiry, our authorized representatives, agents and channel partners.
- Professional advisers, including export-control counsel, auditors and insurers.
- Government agencies and regulators, as described above or where otherwise required or permitted by law.
- An acquirer or successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose the substance of your inquiry to other customers or to competitors.
Where information is held
Sentinel Precision, Inc. is based in the United States. Information collected through this site is processed and stored in the United States and may be accessed from other jurisdictions in which we or our service providers operate. If you contact us from outside the United States, you do so on the understanding that your information will be transferred to and handled there.
How long we keep it
Records connected to controlled items are retained for at least five years, as US export regulations require, and longer where a legal, regulatory or contractual obligation applies. Other information is retained for as long as it remains relevant to the purposes described above.
Your rights
Where applicable law provides them, you may have rights to request access to information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain uses, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Requests can be made through the inquiry form, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on one.
One limitation applies regardless of jurisdiction: where information forms part of an export-compliance or other legally mandated record, we cannot delete it, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Security
The site is served over TLS, sits behind an edge web application firewall, and runs on managed infrastructure with automatic security updates. The inquiry form is protected against automated abuse. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Minors
This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
We may update this notice at any time. The effective date shown at the top of the page changes when we do, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
Contact
Questions about this notice, or requests concerning your information, can be sent through the inquiry form.
